Dr. Beisinger was born and raised south of Indianapolis where his parents had a dairy farm and a cabinet shop. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Animal Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 1999. Dr. Beisinger and his wife, Meredith (Mere), moved to Michigan, which is her home state, in 2015. They both enjoyed training dogs together in Indiana and are excited with the prospect of doing this again here. Mere has 20 years of experience in the veterinary medicine industry to compliment Dr. Beisinger’s over 23 years of practicing veterinary medicine. They both enjoy hiking, boating, and firearm shooting. Dr. Beisinger’s passion is fishing and hunting while Mere prefers time with her horses. Mere is a graduate of the National Canine School for Dog Training and has an associate’s degree in Business and Accounting. Dr. Beisinger has always had the motto of treating people the way he would want to be treated in their position. Excellent patient care and customer service are his main priorities. Together with the staff at BVS they plan to provide a more all-inclusive care for your pet that will help you maximize the bond you have with your pet. Dr. Beisinger and his team believe the unconditional love from our beloved pets is a special gift that should not to be taken for granted but be cultivated and nurtured by proper care and training.
